MAIN HALL

The Main Hall is a very large space with a capacity of up to 300 people seated comfortably, with a viewing gallery overlooking the hall. It is suitable for a wide variety of sports activities, social events, classes, exhibitions and large meetings. The Hall has a servery for preparing tea, coffee and cold drinks as well as pre-prepared food, with a domestic cooker, small fridge and crockery. The size of the Main Hall makes it ideal for sports, activities, children’s parties and private functions such as wedding receptions and other social gatherings. Please supply your own sports equipment, as equipment in the store room is the property of individual clubs and groups.

The current regular Hall usage includes: Badmington, Cheerleading classes, Gymnastics, Table Tennis, Yoga and Short Mat Bowls. For children’s parties there is plenty of room for several bouncy castles and other inflatables.

The Hall is also suitable for indoor sports such as badminton and indoor football for young children only. For outdoor sports, there is a pitch about half a mile away at Landford Recreation Ground which may be better suited for older children and is available for hire via the Parish Clerk.
